Fedex is one of world’s biggest delivery services company. Animals heads are accepted to be shipped for taxidermy purposes. In other words, the company accepts to deliver hunting trophies. Although a 2015 campaign through change.org tried to end the transport of hunting trophies, the 2020 Fedex Express terms and conditions still allows this. <\/p>\n\n\n
As a positive aspect, in 2012 Fedex, as well as UPS and DHL have banned the shipment of live animals to laboratories.<\/p>\n
Moreover, livestock cannot be transported to slaughterhouses according to Fedex policy and according to an email exchange we had with a Fedex Charters representative.<\/p>\n
As a general rule, live animals including pets are not transported according to Fedex’s policy:<\/a><\/p>\n “FedEx Express does not accept live-animal shipments as part of its regular-scheduled service and does not transport household pets such as dogs, cats, birds and hamsters. However, Fedex still ships hunting trophies and live animals that will be eaten as fishes and lobsters and crabs. If these two points could evolve positively in the future, the company could be classified “Vegan Compliant”.
